"The first room we were given was joined to a faulty and extremely noisy water pump, which kept us awake every hour during the first night. We had a wedding to go to the next day and obviously wanted to look our best, not tired pale and wizzened. Thankfully, we were moved to another room far enough away, to not hear the pump. "Room was lovely, shame the view from the window was a roof. Food good but expensive. Entertainment excellent. There were a lot of over 70 year olds there, so I dont think im ready for that yet."

However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. We waited for over an hour and half for dinner and there was no advice on things to do on activities."

"Good spa, nice breakfast with a decent selection. The hotel has easy parking and check in was good. They weren’t able to manage a 30 minute extension on the room which was disappointing. The food and service in the bar was excellent."

"Many parts of the hotel have been modernised and look and feel great. The breakfast was good and the pizza I had for dinner from the bar area was amazing! The staff were very kind, helpful and accomodating. Unfortunately, the rooms feel dated and need to be improved. The outdoor sitting area could be improved and kept clean and tidy."
