"First and foremost, the condo was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. I loved that it had a little balcony to enjoy my coffee in the morning and to view stars at night. It is in a beautiful setting and only 4 miles from Davis, where you can find places to eat. The location is ideal for visiting many natural areas and Blackwater State Park. It was very quiet the week we were there in early October too."

"This place is amazing. The host has truly captured the feel of the Yorkshire Dales in England. The house is filled with notable and interesting antiques and collectibles that add charm and interest everywhere you look. We fully appreciated that the community is gated. There are deer everywhere. And the view from the deck is expansive and beautiful."

"Property was maintained beautifully. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very clean and orderly house. House flies kept appearing, however. Lots of books and games to entertain you. Fully equipped kitchen is a plus. Easy access to Thomas and Davis by car, or Thomas by foot path.The furnace fan motor was so loud the floor vibrated. Eventually noise disappeared. Internet router lost connectivity daily. I texted owner; no reply. Router looks old. Hauling out trash at end of stay was not...

"Amazing place, beautiful views, the entire place was well stocked, comfortable beds, incredibly cozy. Can't wait to stay here again! The owners went above and beyond during my stay, including shoveling walkways and snowblowing the driveway after it unexpectedly snowed. "Great set up for a small house. Extra enclosed porch on back , beside hot tub. Only problem was, the hot tub would only heat to 99. Not really hot, but beautiful wooded setting. Don't let the road scare you. Pup loved the river walk and being off leash the whole time, since it is a secluded spot. "
