"This was a return stay at Eden Rock. The room is modern, well-appointed, clean, with very comfortable beds. Access to an outside area is pleasant. Quiet location, convenient to Great Barrington and Berkshire attractions. While there is no front desk or reception area, instructions for accessing the room are easy to follow."

"This was one of the best motels I've stayed in. Normally motels are older and musty. This was very bright, no smell. White bathroom was very clean. Comfortable bed. It's set a little back on the main road. Because it was cool, we turned off the AC and opened the rear window. It was quiet. Check in/out was easy. Reasonable for the area. Highly recommend."

Walked me through the payment & key card process & I was done & in my room in 5 minutes. She gave us a different room & it was clean & looked like all new bathroom and curtains. "We love the Red Lion. And had two excellent meals around our trips to Tanglewood concerts. We stayed at the Stevens house room 184. Sunny, sweet, fridge downstairs was helpful to store picnic items/wine. But the bed is soft and the bathtub was plastic insert which was unexpected for the cost per night, but more so the smell of mildew. "
