"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. "We arrived a bit late due to traffic in Dublin and a delayed flight but had everything to check in sent before by John, the owner. After arrival we found a perfectly cleaned and very well furnished house which exceeded all out wishes. "We stayed a week at Carpenter's cottage. It was perfect as we were five minutes from Streedagh beach. The cottage has an electric shower which was just what we needed after enjoying the waves.
