From about 1648 the Swedish crown ruled over parts of Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania for more than two centuries and thus secured the supremacy over the Baltic Sea region. From the former Swedish Pomerania, only the island of Rügen and an area north of the Peene remained until the Vienna Congress in 1815. Denmark then received Swedish Pomerania and sold it to Prussia against the Duchy of Lauenburg. Around 1800, still under the Swedish crown, our farmstead (Bondga ° rd) was built and remained in family ownership despite all the turmoil and political systems of different times. It was built in adobe, half-timbered construction with a thatched roof.
