"We had a great long weekend in Vermont enjoying the area. Emerald Lake was beautiful and so fun (we brought our own kayaks, canoes, fishing gear). The house has plenty of room for a large group. Kitchen tables are amazing and so nice to be able to all sit down and eat together. Wish there was a bit more living room seating though. Overall great house for a large group and a great vacation house. "

"Excellent property - the kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cooking needs. The place is very clean and well-maintained. The only drawback are the steep steps to the upstairs, but we old folks managed well enough."

"A perfect reset mini getaway for us! This is our 2nd vrbo rental and it did not disappoint! The property is well appointed in a quiet, rural neighborhood; kitchen, (especially) the bed / bedding, towels and great water pressure throughout. Salt & pepper are provided as well as a roll of paper towels, salt/pepper & toilet paper (in all bathrooms). "The home had an elevated deck with full view of the lake from all spots on the deck. There was also a back room with views of the lake. Kitchen was well stocked, house was clean, and the queen bed was comfortable. AC would have been nice, but there were plenty of fans..Town of Ludlow was close with good food."

"This Vrbo has been housing people since the 1960's, and we're so glad to be a part of this place's history It is truly a timeless home within a beautiful area with great outdoor activites, generous people and good food (we recommend The Hatchery). "This cabin was lovely, tucked away at the end of a little dirt road. The place was clean and tidy and very cozy. The few things I'd have wanted to know before booking:1. It is fairly close to a main road with fast moving traffic, so it is not as tucked away as it appears- you can hear a lot of road noise when you're outside (and even sometimes inside).2. "Everything was exactly as described in VRBO.The cottage is cozy and comfortable and the deck was perfect for family dinners and game nights. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boat and enjoyed swimming in Lake St.Catherine. Thank you to our hosts who responded to every question very quickly.Highly recommend! "

"Older cottage, but clean and freshened up with paint. Small, but had everything you needed, including fans in every room, books, games, kitchen ware. Beds were not that comfortable for the older folks, fine for the younger ones. Shared access to kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards was a huge plus! Beautiful spot on Lake St. Catherine, perfect for swimming and boating right from the yard. Two other cottages share the outdoors space and amenities (fire pit, grill, kayaks, swim docks, etc.). "This house was fantastic. We didn’t have the best weather this Memorial Day weekend but the house, pond and view made up for it. Jeremy stocked the house with everything we could possibly need including fresh eggs from the resident chickens, bacon, snacks and so much more. It was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Our dog enjoyed watching the beautiful fish in the pond and visiting the chickens. We can’t wait to return!"
