Perhaps you can take the "Doroness Express" to nearby Dornum for free and stroll through the historic streets there. Vacationers with the North Sea Service Card (spa card) can use this shuttle bus at no extra cost. It runs every hour between March and October between Dornumersiel, Neßmersiel and Dornum.

Dornumersiel, a picturesque coastal town in East Frisia, boasts a sandy beach and an idyllic harbor from which crab boat trips depart. The town offers a seawater outdoor swimming lake and a wide range of water sports such as sailing and surfing. Families appreciate the “Reethaus am Meer” leisure park and the playgrounds on the beach. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling tours and hikes along the dikes. Dornumersiel combines a maritime atmosphere with leisure fun and nature experiences.
