"We loved everything about the shanty! It was definitely a great place to hangout with the family and the best part was we were able to float right to where we stayed! The kids had a blast on the rope swing, swimming, and we caught lots of fish!! The location was perfect! As other commenters have stated the grill is a little iffy, and the cabin definitely could use some blackout curtains or blinds to help combat the really hot days as the Ac's definitely couldn't keep up! "Fairly clean and nice amenities, but there were just two of us and a dog. If there were six or seven people, they have enough beds, but not enough spaces to eat or hang towels, wet towels from shower. Main reason for renting it was the advertisement that it was quiet and remote from any fireworks. There were fireworks every night nearby and our dog suffered. The oven hood filter neede changing as did the one for the refrigerator. The refrigerator froze food."

"Highly recommend this beautiful getaway. Gorgeous view. Cozy. Covered porch byor relaxation. Less than 25min to Clearwater Lake. Less than 15min to Piedmont and all the town’s shopping. Great experience. The only two things here are the showerhead and the bed. The shower head wasn’t broken. We both took showers and if technically got the job done. It’s just that this one was barely a showerhead and only 50 you can get a luxury one. The bed was SUPER comfy it just was smaller than a queen. I would...
