"Property was nice. Rooms were clean and had lots of room. Staff left a lot to be desired. The man that checked us in, insulted my husband and made us feel like we were the biggest inconvenience. "

"The room had a smell like sewage water, the tv only had 25 channels to choose from, no apps, no streaming, the room felt humid and the south padre location required you to keep the temperature from 69-72 or you’ll be charged. The drinks were watered down at land-shark and the pool area. The food is lightly seasoned. The beach was nice and the pool seemed to be relaxing. The staff was friendly. Overall I will not be back it was not worth it. "

"Great beach access no walkway pure sand. Full fridge and small stove. This is one of the older hotels on the island and I feel like they have kept it up well"

"I've stayed at many different Home2suites and this one in South Padre Island is hands down the best. Exceptional staff, house keeping does a phenomenal job as well as the maintenance staff. Someone is always cleaning inside and outside the property. Beautiful, clean pool with immaculate bbq's. Fitness center is clean and all equipment in working order. Huge parking lot. Close and within walking distance to attractions, restaurants and waterfront bars. We stayed 3 nights and most definitely will...

"I arrived late in the evening around 12:00 AM to check in and the receptionist Rey was really caring and informative. He was understanding of how tired I was and got me checked in really quick. Room smelled great for being in a humid area. The rooms are very spacious and the pool was pretty nice. For being on the first floor, the room was very quiet all night and I never heard the upstairs neighbors. I really enjoyed my stay here and look forward to staying here again. The water was a bit cold...

"There were no soap in shower, large gap in the shower door caused water flowing into toilet dry area. Shower is very congested. Property does look like how its in the photos Very old building,renovations don’t justify "

"First of all the elevator is very dirty and has a very bad smell in our room we had no water pressure to get a decent shower took forever because of low pressure only one set of towels to lasts for days didn’t leave enough toilet paper no washcloth had to go out and buy one TV in the bedroom could not get to work smoke alarm kept going off I had to disconnect it from the wall and pull the battery kept going off for no reason one night left it on the counter"
