"The house met all of my expectations. Plenty of towels were provided and extra linens were available as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. The house is exactly as pictured. The neighborhood is a nice quiet neighborhood, I felt safe. There was soap left behind in the shower from the person that stayed before us but that wasnt a huge deal. The communication was good when I was trying to book but when I was trying to move my booking over a day, I never heard back...

"Here's the run down: this is a relatively well kept property for it's age (150 yrs old!). It's a very small 2 story house with a quite large backyard. The exterior views of the house are from the backyard although the living room faces the front.Parking is limited as the garage was not accessible to host a minivan. There is only 1 bathroom which is on the 1st floor with the sleeping quarters primarily on the 2nd floor. If you are older then not having a bathroom within a few steps of your...

"was wonderful. The cabin is always spotlessly clean, exceptionally well-stocked with everything we could need, and in a beautiful area. We love the quiet, the comfort, and the very responsive owner. Already thinking about visiting again soon. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful cabin in a rural NY setting. Lindsay was an excellent host, with a rapid turn around response for my inquiries. Due to car trouble we needed to stay an extra night, which was available! The cabin was clean, the fire pit was wonderful, there was lots of birds and I also saw 2 toads. Would absolutely stay here again."

"I had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay, quick! This Caroga Lake location was available and it worked out wonderfully. The location was great and the size was perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful. I accidentally locked myself out (whoops 😂) and the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. Would definitely stay here again"

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the lake house. This was our second time back. Check in process was easy. In communication it was good. The house is definitely quirky, but very charming. We loved having water access as well as kayaks available to use. The kitchen was well supplied. And the linens were nice and clean. The house definitely is showing some age andware, but definitely charming. Our only complaint was the lack of curtains and the fact that it seemed the floors had not been cleaned in...
