"We have stayed at The Feathers a few times in the lead up to our wedding, but this was our first time staying in the cottage with our dog. It was a fantastic stay as usual, and we loved the cottage, it was exceptionally clean and we can’t wait to stay again! "
"Unfortunately our stay had to be cut short by 2 days as my back could not tolerate the only bed in the property which is lumpy and hard. Think of a bag of potatoes and you wouldn’t be far off.

"A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens."
"We had the hayloft that could sleep 3 but was a win for us as a couple. It was in a out building, with easy access to the garden, bar and dining areas, but was a bit difficult to get suitcases over the gravel pathway. Very quiet, lots of space and windows to open. The restaurant meal and breakfast was fabulous."
"We thought the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a busy evening as they music on so a very happy sociable place.
The breakfast was perfectly cooked and very tasty.
There are some lovely walks around the village, off the road around fields.
All in all a lovely place to stay."
"A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Room was clean comfortably and so cosy! We were made to feel so welcomed and they kindly accommodated a veggie breakfast for us. The breakfast was lovely with fresh foods and lots of local produce to choose from. We even got a tour of the place! Would highly recommend a stay here. "
"Stayed overnight whilst spending a few days fishing on the local river. A warm welcome on arrival and a nice little clean room with everything I needed (comfy bed, warm shower, tv etc). Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value at £9.85. Beer was also very good and a great selection. Staff were really friendly and happy to have a natter. Look forward to returning next year!"
"A unique blend of modern and historic architecture. The hotel preserves the history beautifully. Guests can walk around and immerse themselves into life at Stanbrook Abbey during the 1800’s.

"This is a lovely place to stay. It is just off the M5 in a rural location. A beautiful pub with history. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The food choices are varied and when served, well presented.
We will stay again when we are visiting family in Cheshire or Scotland. "
