When you visit The Folly for a holiday, or a special celebration with family or friends, youā€™re entering a simply stunning environment that youā€™ll fall in love with, and remember fondly for years.

A stylish post and beam house built by hand, from sustainable timbers; not merely a wonderful place sitting high on the hill with panoramic valley views, but an experience, a real taste of life in a tropical national park that many of our overseas friends tell us theyā€™ve always been searching for, but never previously found. ā€œA little piece of rainforest heaven, with simply stunning views, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Daintree National Park, a true treasure.ā€
The Folly originally attracted us because of its absolutely amazing views right out across the breathtaking rainforest valley.
Our superb deck provide charming vantage points overlooking our extensive tropical gardens where you can enjoy the outstanding Views.
We offer you a place to relax and take a break, away from the crowds.

The Folly consists of a one bedroom post and beam house with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom.

The Folly sleeps up to 3 Guests. The bedroom has a queen size bed. There is also a queen-size sofa bed in the spacious living area.
The Folly offers the space and privacy for a couple and a single child or friend. The rear Alfresco deck has with outstanding Valley views and comfortable seating. Imagine yourself relaxed during the day or looking out at the stars at night.

The Folly has a fully equipped kitchen with a Gas Cook top & Oven. The full size fridge/freezer is large enough for the whole family.
The Indoor dining table seats 4.
The Alfresco Deck also has a dining table conveniently located adjacent to the BBQ.
The comfortable Living room has a Stereo and flat screen TV.
Sitting high on a hill, there is nearly always a breeze at The Folly.
Perfectly positioned Shutters, french doors and turbo ceiling fans in all areas make The Folly your very comfortable tropical holiday home.

Wonderful Tropical Getaway

Loved our three nights in this wonderful house. All the amenities you need with wonderful views over the rainforest. Best of all worlds with nature and good internet coverage a bonus. Highly recommended. After a day checking the local attractions we settled in for a day reading and relaxing on the deck observing the bird life and butterflies.

Awesome property hidden away from it all & at one with nature

The property and understanding of property manager Dean, was exceptional. The off-grid property was exceptionally build and wooden charm design exceeded my expectations. It is a credit to the design and builder.

Relaxing in the trees,a read paradise.

My wife and i have travel a lot and stayed in many Stayz places since 2012..and I put my hand on my heard and say this had be the best for wh ast my wife and I were looking for for a real break and get ya i not value for money...we both felt very relaxed there and lots of things in the Daintree to see and do and all closeby. This property is all self contained kitchen wise and housewife...laying in bed an listening to rainforest birds was great and we did see 3 lots of wild cassorarys near her at different times on with a chick. My wife and i only regret is we didn't book longer..so we are talking of going back in the next 9 to 12 months... Tont and Marie

Picturesque

The property and surrounds were absolutely enchanting. After each day of exploring the Daintree, there was no better way to relax than sit on the deck with some wine and cheese and take in the serenity. Looking forward to staying here again next time we visit.
