"Affordable hostel in a good location with the metro stations near by and the bus stop just around the corner, perfect for exploring Singapore. Nice neighborhood with restaurants, small hawker centers and bars. Rooms are small but mine was quite comfortable. They have no windows but the AC in the corridor and the vents in the rooms work well. Good amenities, very friendly and helpful staff. "

"Ich mochte den Aufenthalt dort. Mit Navi konnte man es leicht finden. Einfach an der grünen Station Raffles Place aussteigen und am Fluss entlang gehen. Die Räume sind sauber, und sehr kühl. Es riecht einwenig modrig, aber schimmel hatte ich keinen gesehen. Unisex Toiletten und Duschkabinen. Alles ist sehr gemeinschaftlich, also hat man die meiste Privatsphäre im Zimmer, auf seinem Bett mit Vorhang. Die Bettnummer wird dir gezeigt, und es gibt ein extra Schuhfach, da innen keine Schuhe getragen...

"It’s such a shame because the staff here are extremely helpful and welcoming but this hostel is not clean at all. I’ve stayed at many hostels in Singapore but I cannot recommend this one. Beds are very uncomfortable, no windows, toilets and showers are in same room so toilet is constantly soaked, many insects crawling walls. Once again, it’s such a shame this hosel is like his as owners are so kind."

"I wouldn't recommend this place to be honest. I booked a two bed room (one bed and one sofa-bed). The sofa-bed didn't come with a blanket. Staff was not available after 5 pm. There was no information how to contact them after that hour. On the plus side: localization ok, close to dining options (i.e., Maxwell market) and to the ChinaTown metro station.
