"Cheapest place in Cripple Creek. Have stayed around 10 times while we build in the area. Mostly just fine for the price. Always the little things at one time or the other. Unattended dogs, shower dispensers empty, no key will work, weird pillows. They took care of the dispensers and even comped my room once as the dog never shut up. Still my place!"

"Hotel was a morgue in early 1900s, and was advised by staff and casino employees sometimes see a female ghost playing the slot machines, fascinating history of casino and town."

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very historic vibes and the elevator was definitely interesting. We were bummed about not having accommodations for coffee in our room. i.e coffee, coffee mugs, creamer and sugar. We had to come down for coffee and a slightly limited breakfast menu. But overall, a pretty decent stay."

"There had been a room fire before we arrived and the windows were all boarded up on one side of the motel. Ice machine was broken. There was coffee thermoses in the for morning complimentary coffee but the lobby doors were always locked. There was no mini fridge, coffee maker, or microwave in our room. When we requested to exchange our dirty towels for clean ones we were met with reluctant disdain. Overall one of the worst stays ever. You cannot even see mountains from anywhere on property. The...

"Positives: - Large clean room with nice view. - Very clean and upgraded building and amenities. - Staff is VERY friendly and helpful. Need Improvement (but easy to fix): - Pool was a bit chilly. Please warm it up a bit. - No desk in room. Put in a small desk and office chair. - Pillows new and fluffy but not much substance. Get some good pillows. Overall: I would go there again."
