"Five stars because they gave me a room on the third floor with a fantastic ocean view and sunset. Totally unexpected since it was the cheapest hotel for night. Not sure if there’s any views from the second floor. Good coffee a few doors down."

"Friendly staff, clean facility, and easy to navigate."

"Incredible views, great staff, and a very nice room. We loved it here!"

"Great location"

"Horrible staffing."

"My solo stay at Hotel Sylvia was nothing short of magical. From the moment I pulled up, I knew I'd found something special. Perched with an unobstructed view of the Pacific, the hotel offers a panorama of crashing waves and dramatic coastal skies that had me lingering at the window every morning with my coffee. The rooms are where Hotel Sylvia truly shines. Each one is uniquely themed; mine felt like stepping into a whimsical storybook, with playful décor and charming details around every...

"Excelente!

"This is Newport's best kept secret! I almost hate to have others discover it but I also want them to succeed so that they'll stay around! Truly unique experience. Utterly charming accommodations, tastefully decorated, clean and a great host. It is rare to find a true Bed and Breakfast on the coast and this is it. Complementary drink and appetizers in the evening and continental breakfast bar PLUS hot breakfast option in the morning! Plus where else can you find accommodations on a stern...

"Great location but little beach access close by. King bed was comfortable. Room and building out dated and had some carpet coming up, not great shower but for the price it wasn't bad. Close to hear places to eat in walking distance."

"The room was clean, staff at front desk was nice, not too expensive. The only thing that was not the best is the parking however not a whole lot can be done about that. Is was a good stay and quiet."

"A bit outdated but other than that everything else is great."
