"I read a number of reviews that were not very positive about Painters Lodge. I have to say it was fantastic. Room was refurbished and breathtaking views off a massive balcony. Super comfy bed and the food in the pub was really good. Incredible value!!!"

"Our family of 6 stayed in a very spacious 2 bedroom cabin. Everything that was needed to have breakfast before taking our 4 children exploring was provided in the kitchen. Cabin was clean and comfortable. The pub was super close so mom and dad were able to sneak off for a nightcap to end the day. We will definitely be back. The Boltons"

"Our 2nd stay at this wonderful resort. The staff are outstanding ~ friendly and helpful, starting with a lovely, resourceful, pro-active doorman and equally helpful front desk staff. All extremely professional. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Wonderful outdoor spaces and excellent views of the neighbouring excellent golf course."

"Parking in a mall lot away from hotel entrance. Hot tub out of order. Made to wait while room was checked on checkout. Windows in room were filthy."

"The property is well located in the centre of the village. Only complained we had was due to the outside noise (Power saw and back-up alarm from forklift) created by the construction in the harbor. A room on the other side of the hotel might have cushioned that noise somewhat. The staff lady which we connected with in the Grocery/Liquor Store was extremely helpful and sourced a microwave and cutlery for us , since the restaurants where still closed for the season. Would definitely stay there...
