"Was looking for somewhere away from the city for a quiet and peaceful stay. This was it to the T. Loved the privacy and neatness of the property. Was very easy going to check in and stay. Slept well each night with no disturbances. Was easy to get in and out to my office each day for business. About 15 minute drive into GSO area for my work. Will return! "

"Two of our children actually got sick on our trip so we spent a lot of time in the house. Such a charming living space with antiques, and a lovely old world feel. It’s a cozy little getaway that makes you feel like it’s a home away from home.The owner was very kind and prompt with replies.We have family nearby and look forward to booking again on our next trip. "Great communication with host Mark before and during stay. He was super friendly, always available, and anticipated all of our needs without being intrusive. We were a group of three professional women attending a conference at Wake Forest University, which was a straighforward drive from the house. Besides the house, we LOVED the yard and appreciated the exercise room. Highly recommend! "

"I'm not even sure I can think of anything negative to say about this place, especially considering some of the other places we've rented before. They have nearly everything you could need in the kitchen (except cold condiments LOL but that would be weird maybe...) The location is amazing, especially if you're planning to go tubing down the Dan River. It's great for small kids since there's only 1 floor and no stairs inside. (Listing did say there was kids' toys/playground, but didn't find...
