We choose this hotel as it was a short (1 mile) walk from the centre of Dijon and offered free parking. We were breaking up a long drive through France and needed a good night rest on the way. The rooms appealed as they offered some kitchen facilities (microwave, sink) which is a real help with young children.
The room was clean and reasonably well equipped, although it smelt like a really strong cleaner had been used which was a little disconcerting, as was the initial difficulty in finding reception(!). I assess this is a re-purposed building, so the walls are thin and layout pragmatic to available space rather than by design.
Unfortunately we stayed on a Friday night and the building is also used as a disco so music continued into the small hours, compounded on this night an argument broke out at 0630 downstairs and the raised voices and banging continued for an hour. I understand this is beyond management control but, back to those thin walls, and music played loud in to the night meant that I didn't get the nights sleep I needed before a full day on the motorways. Our young people slept fine though. :-)
While parking was very nearby and free, we woke to find the car had broken bottles lying around - probably from local kids so again outside the control of hotel but again not great news as you set off for the motorway.
I think this would better suit younger travellers who appreciate relative proximity to town/value and would be less bothered by the noise.
