"Lovely cottage with all the amenities , smell of honeysuckle was divine, great courtyard garden safe for the dog and it was a great quiet location with easy access to the beach that allowed dogs. The only complaint (a small one) was the brass bed that was squeaky - but comfortable) would recommend"

Hope Cove

"Always a joy to stay in this unique home. Probably the best weather we have ever had in Hope Cove over the May Bank Holiday week, producing some extraordinary sunsets across the bay. For other visitors please note that the Lobster Pods don't open until late June, so the Cove and the Hope & Anchor were super busy. In fact, the latter was turning away anyone without an advance booking... The Cove was inundated with takeaway orders by those choosing to stay on the beach in the Mediterranean-style...

"Just a really lovely cottage, beautifully decorated inside and stunning views of the estuary from the garden. Curlew Cottage is also in such a good location, with walks towards Northam one way and 5 minutes to Appledore along colourful Irsha Street the other. We parked in Torridge Road car park the first night, which made for easy unloading of luggage and the rest of the week in the main Churchfields car park where there was always a space.A lovely summer's stay...."
