Most hotels do not allow for or charge large sums for a late checkout to give “night shift” staff the opportunity to get a decent nights “days” sleep. The staff jere were very accommodating, with it being “off season”, to allow for a slightly later checkout and it was very much appreciated. "Our room was a generous size. There was even a table and chairs (in addition to king bed, two nightstands, recliner & long dresser) so we could eat comfortably and play a card game too. The decor reminded me of spending the night at my grandparents’ house. It’s certainly not the latest and greatest, but has a welcoming feel! :)"

"Clean, nice, just the basics but that's all you need. It was completely quiet. Wi-fi worked fine. We stayed because of an event in Madison. The drive was 25 minutes to the hotel, about how long it would have taken to get to Madison's east side. There were a couple of "hooker hotels" with rooms available closer than this hotel, but we were dissuaded from them and I am so happy. We'll stay again when we come to Madison for the same event."
