Located between downtown Detroit and Royal Oak; the Purple Dove Room is perfect for private romantic getaway, exploring the greater Detroit area, enjoying a sporting event and festival concerts or simply to come home after a day out exploring. A 32" Smart HD TV also brings action to you.

The Purple Dove Room has on-site parking and 60” HD 4K TV with Netflix in the living room; separate 32” 4K HD TV with YouTube/Netflix in your own room and 1000bps high-speed broad band Internet.

California King bed with Heavenly Sealy mattress. Code-locked with entrance via rear corridor or front door. No smoking or children under 12 years old please.

Only $10 uber ride to watch the Lions, Tigers or Redwings (Oh My) put it all on the line. Stadium parking is $25-$60.

Downtown Detroit and Royal Oak have lots of restaurants, entertainment and nightlife to explore. Downtown Detroit is approximately 15 minutes away; Downtown Royal Oak is approximately 10 minutes away. Palmer Park, Palmer Golf Course and Palmer Tennis Academy are at the corner across the street. Starbucks is 3 minutes away (including the traffic lights) in a shopping area with Meijer's Grocery and Home Goods store, gas stations, Planet Fitness and yes, even an Applebee's.

The renovated Palmer Park, Tennis Academy and Golf Course is at the corner. This section of Detroit/Highland Park is being revitalized one residence at a time. The area is under full renovation and our street is being renovated as well by myself and motivated Detroit natives!

As a guest, you have complete access to the kitchen, living and dining room areas, shared bathroom and of course your bedroom. The entrances have code-locked security doors. No need for keys.

Some GPS systems will have the unit located in Highland Park because it shares a ZIP Code with Detroit, Michigan. Apple Maps and Google maps, regardless of highland park or Detroit, will bring you right to the front door. Enjoy your stay and see what the city has to offer!

My team and I believe in giving you privacy but we are only a phone call or email away from any questions you may have. Should you have a concern, my house manager is just upstairs. Additionally, I have a contractor nearby and on-call 24/7 as well.

We are 10-15 minutes from the Detroit Pistons, Tigers and Redwings as well as the Fox Theater, Aretha Franklin Amphitheater and Downtown Detroit. It's a $10 Uber ride to these locations or $15 to the Canadian border.

Meijer's grocery and home goods store is 5 minutes away as well as Starbucks, retail stores, Planet Fitness and yes - even an Applebee's. There are lovely local restaurants and national chains within a 10 minute driving area as well.

Downtown Detroit (15 minutes south) and Royal Oak (10 minutes north) are easily accessible from Woodward Blvd - main thoroughfare at the corner. We are across the street from Palmer Park, Palmer Park Tennis Academy and Palmer Golf Course. There is a Bowling Alley 2 minutes away and the night life of Royal Oak is a short car ride away. Parking at the stadiums for the Tigers, Redwings and Pistons is between $25-$60 but an Uber ride from your room is between $10-$11 so sit back, relax and be confident you can fully enjoy yourself.

I should think that a car or Uber/Lyft would provide the most ease and flexibility. There is also a bus line on Woodward Ave at the corner (end of the same block).

The house is slightly elevated; there are 6-8 steps on the front and rear entrances.
