I am so sad! We had an event in town for the weekend (we came here last year for the same event) and we chose this specific hotel for TWICE the cost of another hotel in a less than 10 mile radius of our event solely because of how nice of a hotel it was but also mostly for the hot tub/pool. There was no indication online, no notice sent via email-nothing, stating that the pool and hot tub were shut down, nor did the receptionist let us know. After an insanely long day, and honestly-me arguing back and forth whether we should spend almost another $200 for an extra night solely to use the hot tub more, we checked into our room, quickly changed into our swim clothes and took the elevator down to the pool area-only to be greeted with a closed sign… I could’ve spent far less money for a room to sleep in for the night elsewhere. I’m so glad I didn’t book for 2 nights initially like I had considered. We are beyond disappointed.
