"House looks beautiful in the pictures, that’s why I am assuming there are no outside pictures. Not a good area, didn’t feel safe. Didn’t get the address until after the time allotted to cancel but even once I got it shame on me for not verifying the location. Received the access code 2.5 hours after rental started and was driving from MI so was panicking because not much communication and after asking yet again for code it took over an 1.5 hours for her to give it. Was told they were cleaning...

"Skip's rustic cabin is definitely rustic, which was fine with me. I was looking for peace and quiet, and got it! The cabin was a good base to explore Okefenokee swamp, and also the beach on Amelia island. The nearby sandbank was perfect for sitting out and swimming in the river. My dog enjoyed it as well! "

"Beautiful place. Hosts were very nice. Was able to relax on the river, shop downtown and hike Broxton Rocks waterfall 30 minutes away. Will definitely be back. "

"We arrived the day after Christmas to a tree lit and waiting in the living room. Plenty of space and easily slept my family of 9. You do need to expect a bumpy ride in, but worth it to be off the beaten path. Such a nice stay!"

"We loved the cabin. Walked to the lake on the first day and was surprised that the walkway just ended in the weeds with no dock or cleared bank. Maybe there was another path we didn't see. Was not a big deal. We ended up spending our time in the cabin and exploring the surrounding communities. Overall great experience and would reccommend this property."
