"Nice place to get away and relax!"

"We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us. "

"Over all the description of the property was spot on. The cleaning staff needs some pointers. Perhaps they can take some time and clean the coffee pot, empty the lint from the dryer, and cob webs along the floor by the registers. We didnt use the hot tub or the grill, we didnt want to clean them to use them. There was a faint odor of propane near the large tank. Other wise we had a blast.Barnardsville really got demolished by those storms. I had no idea it was that widespread. "

"Great cabin, clean, plenty of space for a family of 6. Had all the amenities that make this a “home away from home”. As others have stated in their reviews, the cabin is in a remote location, high up a mountain and you need to travel up a steep and windy road to get there. I would not recommend driving on this road when it is dark. Highly recommend it and would stay here again. "

"The craftsmanship of the construction of this cabin is top notch. Everything is so comfortable, and just watching the river flow by is a relaxing way to pass the time. Thank you so much for sharing this warm space with us! We’ll be back!"

"The cabin was clean, right on the lake, maintenance had to come and check the hour water heater, couldn't have asked for speedy and friendlier service. We will go back"

"My husband, our friends and pups all enjoyed our stay. Super secluded and serene. Cooked on the grill outside and enjoyed rocking on the porch. Inside was clean and inviting with lots of amenities. We definitely will be back! "

"Perfect place for my sister and I to stay while attending the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway. The owners are very attentive and responsive, and the cabin had everything we needed. I loved the pigs and goats!! Would absolutely recommend, and would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in Bristol! "

"Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs."
