Considering we didn't plan to travel to NYC, we were happily surprised this house was equipped with everything we needed, from new kitchen appliances like air fryer, rice cooker, and crockpot to hair dryer, garment steamer, plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. The beds, sheets and pillows were hotel quality. "I chose this apartment for its location primarily and it was a hit. Since we were traveling and staying for two weeks with a toddler and a new baby I was looking for it to also have an outdoor space, and it was wonderful as seen in the pictures. For personal reasons I had to change my dates a few days before my booking was coming up, the hosts had no problem to accommodate my needs. "We enjoyed our overnight stay at this quaint nicely appointed carriage house."

"The photos of the unit were beautiful however the wear and tear on the actual property did not compare. The bathroom sink constantly leaked and because the floors were not even they stayed wet. The nightstands were broken the refrigerator would not open all the way. I also was not notified until the day of check in that the unit was on the 3rd floor and there was 2 flights of stairs just to get to the entrance to the unit."

"This room was listed accurately and has amazing aesthetics. The host was super communicative and attentive and did his best to help me navigate the sidewalk improvements that were being made on the day of my arrival. My one suggestion would be to provide a kureg or similar basic coffee set up in the room for guests. It was my first time to visit Yonkers and there wasn’t a lot of coffee shops there. Thanks for delivering a quality experience, I would stay here again."

When I got to the property, the front door was already open, raising serious concerns about security. Inside, the floors were dirty, the beds were unmade, and the trash from the previous guests had not been removed.
