"Mountain setting was lovely. The brewery on site was delicious"

"Resort was dark and dated. Air conditioning loud and beds and pillows uncomfortable. We were the only guests in the resort. No amenities The restaurant was more updated and bright but food was fair. No breakfast available. Golf course was in good condition and the starter was friendly and helpful. Will not be returning."

"It seems clear from the review of other guests that Village 1 does not meet expectations and it was no different for us. Unfortunately I had not read those reviews before booking. We paid for a place with a view which was in a mountain location and isolated location and we got a very old historic house right next to the city centre. The check-in was already confusing, the address on the reservation is a house and there someone received us saying that it is not there, and then they sent it to...

"This place went above and beyond for me, I just can’t say good enough about this awesome establishment."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Liked that coffee and continental breakfast was available in the office. Our particular room could use a new water facet on the sink. Other than that would stay there again."

"You get what you pay for - cheap, not value. Spent the first 2 hours cleaning because it was barely touched - even dining table and chairs had crumbs and spill stains. The coffee maker was black inside the water compartment. I had to pick up silverware and dish soap from the dollar store because there was only 2 forks and spoons for a place advertised for 6 and no dish soap to clean dishes. I’m confident my cleaning and items I left behind for the next guests will be reimbursed by karma. Oh,...

"Enjoyed our time, would definitely return. Quaint town."

"The host Sue was great ! She was available right away when I needed her with checking in. We stayed for July 4th weekend and the price was very reasonable for the weekend. The location was perfect. Local restaurants and grocery store all walking distance. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures! I would definitely stay here again !"

"Trout stream was great. Note that there is wifi, but not really dependable cell coverage in the area."

"I would definitely recommend this house for a group -- it was too much house for just two of us! The location is great: you can walk into one town, it's on a 7 mile circular hike, and you can also walk about 30 minutes to a brewery."

"Tranquility at its best"

"None"

"The apartment was spacious and clean. Good kitchen and television. Slower wifi. Comfortable bed. The bedroom is up a steep staircase and has low ceiling beams. Not a problem for most, but if you are elderly and visit the bathroom often in the night it is not ideal. Only the two main single beds are sleepable, except maybe for kids. Quiet. Good value for the price. Parking is easy and less compilcated than it sounds."

"This was a perfect spot for a girls getaway for mothers day weekend. Plenty of room for all of us to sprawl out. And with 6 girls it was nice having 3 bathrooms for sure. Beautiful views."
