"I had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay, quick! This Caroga Lake location was available and it worked out wonderfully. The location was great and the size was perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful. I accidentally locked myself out (whoops 😂) and the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. Would definitely stay here again"

"1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. "We booked this for a large family trip and the house was more than accomodating for our large group. The home itself is very nice and well maintained. I still give 5 stars but a few minor things I noticed were that the half bathroom door did not lock, some of the windows were in the process or repair so could not open, the wall in the kids room was damaged, and one of the bunkbeds in the kids room was rather wobbly and the safety rail was not secured properly so it went unused.
