"really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival! "We booked the cottage for a week's stay whike work was being done on our home. It was a real home from home too. Everything's there, including electric blankets to warm the beds. Although thd heating kept the cottage toasty, we turned most off except living room and bathroom. Loved the log burner too, a real focal point. Internet provided was good, a bonus as the phone signal there is poor, as is most of the local area due to hills etc. Would certainly recommend."

"Poppy cottage is comfortable both inside and out. The owner was lovely . Loads of information on walks in the surrounding area. "I live near Southampton and run a company based near Stoke and this is my favourite perch; the kitchen lets me eat normally as I tend to keep strange hours. Just right size and facilities for me. Could just as well be a perch for a countryside break. Highly recommended "
