Its located near several crystal mines and the general store down the street is convenient and prices are great. Owners are very friendly and available. Very family friendly place. "We loved our stay. The cottage was clean and even thing was neatly layed out. There were fire woods, charcoal for bbq also kayak's for bayou. Host Angela was super awesome and she checked on us to make sure if we need anything or had in any issues during our stay. Over all its a nice property, if you want to spend quite and quality time with your family. Highly recommended."

"Very clean and neat. Historical and artsy. Cozy, equipped with everything you need. The outside property is arranged thoughtfully with plants, flowers and trees everywhere. And consequently, birds and likely pollinators. Skyline Cafe is a few blocks away and the food was fantastic. The Italian restaurant recommended in the room binder was also very good. Our stay was very quiet and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. "
