"From the initial booking to checking out the communication with the Hosts was great. "Staying at the cottage was extremely pleasing. The cottage was just perfect, like Goldilocks, not too big, not too small, but just right. The proximity and access to Higgins Lake was again just right. On the morning of our departure, we were already discussing our return visit. All in all, Jillian and the cottage were perfect! "Had a wonderful fall weekend here! The place was so cozy inside! We loved sitting in the hot tub with the outside temperature so cold or just around the fire talking! The host was amazing This was probably my first rental with such an array of complimentary items! The bathroom was stocked with anything you could have forgotten and more(thankfully because I did forget something!) The coffee/k-cup/tea setup was great and loved the honey sticks! "

"Amazing vacation! The Main House plus 3 cabins gave ample space & privacy for our group of 20 babies & 4 dogs! The backyard is perfect for campfires & play area for the young ones. Being so close to the public street access was very convenient! Renting a pontoon from Go Fast made the vacation complete!! We’ll be back! Already booked for 2026! Thanks to Jeremy, Cathy & April (plus crew) for making our stay so memorable!"

"Just got home from our stay at naughty in the woods wow an amazing spot if you’re into using side-by-side or riding the trails at Houghton Lake. Great location, conveniently located by plenty of bars and restaurants auto parts stores and a Walmart. Only 1.2 miles from the Denton Creek trailhead which is a blast. It offers great trails in great scenery. When we got done, we lit a fire outback, and sat and laughed about all the time we had on the trails. We will definitely be back a great spot!"

"Exceptional stay at this lake front house, in all aspects. Host were very friendly and very detailed email about the house and your welcomed stay. House was very clean and nicely decorated. And fully supplied kitchen with everything you would need from dishes to appliances. Clean property, nice dock, outdoor furniture and gas grill. Short walk out to the sand bar in shallow water. "Great place to stay at Higgins Lake!! The house is clean & updated and feels like home - all the amenities you need, and then some, plus an amazing view!Everything was clean and comfortable. The whole family enjoyed it!One note for guests - bring water shoes for going in the lake out past the owner's boat. Couldn't be happier with our stay - it was awesome and the owners were responsive and gave all the necessary information. Seamless check-in, stay, and check-out.We loved it!"
