O mais estranho e desconfortável foi a casa de banho ser minúscula sem cabine de duche. Tomávamos banho literalmente em cima do lavatório e da sanita, deixando tudo molhado."

"O hotel não tinha elevador e o quarto que nos estava reservado ficava no 3 andar, e carregar com as malas era muito cansativo, mas lá no arranjaram um no 1 andar. O pequeno almoço foi normal (mais para nenos), pois nem leite tivemos. É de lamentar que este hotel nem um mapa turístico da cidade tivesse."

The garden was magical—lights, a refreshing pool, and playful little kittens made it feel like a dream. We also enjoyed using the barbecue in the evenings. A truly relaxing and memorable experience. "Ex-communist palace, so nice big bathtub for decadent soaking for up to three, with lashings of hot water. Breakfast OK but a little variable, depending on number of guests. Superb barman but likely to be leaving soon, as way too good for that place. Good value. Very nice views over park, monument and river. Friendly reception and breakfast room staff. Watch out for miserable staff and possible rip-offs in the Mechana (sort of rustic, Bulgarian-themed restaurant). Food was OK and chef was...
