"Bass Camp is a beautiful lake front property! The house was perfect for our family of ten. We especially liked the 3 master bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Other features we enjoyed were the large beautiful deck overlooking the lake, the hot tub, the fire pit (which we used most nights), and the dock where we had our rental pontoon boat so we could be out on the lake most days.Check-in was easy and the owner was easy to work with, always answering questions promptly.A great vacation spot on...

"We were very impressed by the cleanliness and quality of the property and accommodations. Very well appointed and comfortable. Easy to relax and enjoy the peaceful scenery. The dedicated hot tub, fire pit and grill are great features. Would definitely come back and plan to!"

"Perfect place! We spent a week at the Big Dipper to celebrate a family member's birthday and the place was amazing. The house is as advertised; very spacious, clean, comfortable, with lots to do. The amenities are plentiful and the kids loved the pool and games. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again in the future. "

"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

"The house was charming. Perfect cabin in the woods. Very kitschy and cute. The beds were comfortable and the house had all the modern conveniences we wanted. Loved the hot tub and deer"

"Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! "

"My girlfriend and I simply loved staying here. It's the kind of place you wish that you lived in full-time. Being able to use a hot tub any time of the day is a true luxury!The sheer privacy and beauty of the natural surroundings is unmatched. "We absolutely loved this place!!! So much to do for every age. Never stayed in a rental with such generous provisions. Already talking about a trip to the Owl’s Nest for next year…Dave and Pearle go above and beyond!"

"The stay was fabulous!! Having 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators 2stoves2coffeemakers! Brilliant!!We had plenty of space to cook for seventeen guests! The communal spaces were comfy and condusive for the games we played. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit!"
