"The whole property is gorgeous. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. It was very clean and comfortable from the welcoming gifts in EVERY room to the kitchen loaded with what ever utensil you could possibly need. The close proximity of a store and the ample places to put things. Every night there was a movie in the theatre with popcorn. The billiards room with space to play and the parlor for quiet talks. We could not have been more pleased. "

"Wow! What else can i say. This property has everything you need for a get away and then some! Ernie and Carmelita were extremely gracious hosts. The salsa and chips was a lovely surprise after a day of long travel. Easy access to the trails and dog friendly. The pressure washer was a nice bonus after those muddy rides. Would stay here again!"

"Wonderful stay in downtown Haysi, Virginia, in the loft above a delightful music store. Place was as advertised and very comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating. Come in October for the crooked music road festival in Haysi. "

"Despite a couple of issues "Homeplace" was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I am a veteran so I have been to a number of locations. Becky answered my texts promptly. More importantly I had some difficulty locating the home. I didn't realize I was only a few blocks away. Becky answered my call and gave the directions to the house. I couldn't have found a better place to stay nor a better host. I certainly hope if I ever go to the area again this place is available. The home...

"We stayed here while riding the Hatfield and McCoy trails, and it was absolutely perfect! The place was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone in our group to relax after a long day of riding. It was exactly what we needed—comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but work called us back. Highly recommend for anyone planning a trail trip in West Virginia!We will be back to stay again!"

"Our family rented this little VRBO for the weekend in order to attend Rock the Country 2025. It was myself, my husband, my son and his fiancee. It was about an hour from the concert venue, but was super quaint and perfect for what we needed.The property owners were extremely communicative and friendly. The cabin was clean and smelled good. "This estate was a perfect family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday. The host gave important information in a timely manner and the housekeeper answered questions quickly and precisely. The place is kept up and nestled in a beautiful location. Three of the family members played golf one night. Two family members enjoyed runs and the rest explored hiking. There was ample room for everyone; fun activities like ping pong and corn hole. We just had the best time and I am glad I found this...
