"The management of this hotel seem to be under the impression that adding "boutique" to the name is sufficient to give it a veneer of quality. Unfortunately the name is where that veneer abruptly & catastrophically ends. I’ll start with the 1 positive - the staff were all fine – no issues there. The hotel itself is dilapidated and old - water dripping from the ceiling in the bar, signs hanging off walls, carpet that ends 2" short of the wall, but the real joy begins when you go upstairs. "I honestly cannot rate this hotel high enough, the rooms were absolutely spotless, the breakfasts were amazing and the staff. Well every single member of staff were pleasant, polite, courteous and helpful. The aircon was heaven sent in the heatwave, I had amazing sleep every night yet my brother in law in a budget hotel was tormented with heat. I will without a doubt stay there again and wont even contemplate looking at other hotels."
