"Our room was not cleaned and we had to call to get service that still took too long to come. There was some water in the room coming from the ceiling, they didnt even try to fix it or offered to change rooms. The guy who came to clean the water, did it with our bathroom mat and then put it back in our bathroom! Our laundry was not delivered in time and we had to call 4-5x for them to bring it. "Fabulous eco-retreat in the rural wilderness of Sri Lanka. Loved the feel and vibe of this resort. Everyone was super friendly and we came away very relaxed after a two night stay. Unlike anywhere wise we visited on our two week trip. Recommended "

"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

"Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Be sure to try the special Cinnamon Infused Ice Tea – it’s also lovely with some lemon gin in the evening! The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall...

"Agthira river camp was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was so nice. Looking onto the river was very relaxing and hours were spent watching the monkeys. The buffet in the morning and evening was great. The safari was booked via the hotel and was a great experience."

"Amazing grounds"

"We stayed for one night for the Safari. The property is well maintained, clean and it is as described. The owner is very responsive, offer good service. We enjoyed the breakfast included in the reservation after the Safari. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"We loved our time here whilst visiting for safari and we couldn’t recommend staying here enough. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and the hosts made the experience extra special, everyone was so friendly! Food was delicious and plentiful. We were very grateful to find this hidden gem! Thank you to the hosts, we hope to come back to visit one day! "

"it was a very irresponsible service, where I made the booking on 27th October for 11th December, 45 days prior (booking confirmation 133489232195). Since their Head Office didn't forward the booking details to the site. They refused to accept my booking, since they have over sold the rooms. After showing the evidences, they were trying to offer us a horrible location as an alternative and argued with me that the Credit Card payment was not made by them, whereas it was debited in October...
