"It could do with more cleaning. The hallways were clean and smelled fresh but the room carpet needed deep cleaning with dust bunnies along the corner skating . The carpet looked discoloured and the floors creaked. The pillows were so flimsy and my duvet had a rip on the underside. There was so much hair all over the room and the beds were not comfortable at all. The bathroom tap was so difficult to open as if it hasnt been used in years. "Ive stayed in many hotels around the world and this is amongst the most horrific if not the most horrific hotel Ive ever stayed in.
The room I stayed in was beyond basic, grubby, poorly maintained with possibly the worst outlook Ive had (industrial pipes).
The walls are paper thin and you can hear quiet conversations in the hotel through the doors. The insulation in non-existent.
Its also a hotel used by lots of people going drinking or clubbing late and people come in at all hours (fair...

"The Talbot Hotel is a very quaint hotel. It’s location in Oundle is ideal and central. The courtyard is a great place to soak up the sun with a cold beverage. Dorotha and Aaron were a pleasure to deal with, as were all staff. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location."
