"It is a magical property located close to downtown Hāwī. The wonderfully crafted house with a spacious front lanai overlooks the delightful, friendly farm animals, grazing the rolling green pastures, and the Pacific. At twilight, you can often see Maui 30 miles away. The glorious sunsets photograph well!"

"This Hawaiian style house has been thoughtfully and carefully renovated so that it retains the charm of the 1940s plantation house but is totally comfortable for a longer stay. We loved it. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need - including a wine fridge and plenty of dishware and cooking utensils. Large airy rooms, including a sun room off the kitchen and a dining room. "This is an amazingly beautiful place. You can see the ocean from the bedroom, and when the weather is clear Maui too. There are so many stars on clear nights, and we saw several rainbows. The whole property is basically a tropical garden, with little paths through the woods and citrus and avocado trees, which guests are welcome to enjoy as much as they want. Words and photos can't describe how beautiful and replenishing this location is.The hosts are lovely and welcoming - truly good people....

"We loved our stay. Such a peaceful place with an incredible view. The hale itself is super comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Excellent location for the best swimming beaches on the island, which are a short drive away. We were a bit unlucky with the mosquitoes in what's normally a very dry area—hopefully next time will be more typical. A very special spot that was exactly what we were looking for. Showering under the stars was especially memorable! "
