"On arrival to the hotel. We stood there for almost 8 mins before the girl acknowledged us. Was on the phone Finally came out , we were told to come back as check in was not until 3 pm. Realizing we were only a hour early we left and returns back just after 3 pm told our room was not ready. As we sat and waited in the lobby others also arrived they got their rooms only to come down and say their room was not clean. Over heard the cleaning staff and desk staff discuss how rooms were signed...

"This is an absolute gem, so pretty and quaint, Cheryl is a fabulous hostess and wonderful cook. We had a wonderful stay!"

"Did not know that there were so many stairs to get to and from the bachelor apt., However Hosts were there at the time we arrived to check on things and graciously helped us up the stairs with our bags ! We really appreciated their friendliness and kindness after a long day . The oatmeal cookies that were left for us as a special treat were fantastic and waking up to a beautiful view with Canada geese on the lawn by the lake was amazing!"

"Well appointed cabin with lots of outside space to enjoy. There's a fire pit, with wood, and a platform for seating. The inside has a well painted kitchen and an outside BBQ. There is a Keurig coffee maker for morning relaxing. The cabin has a heat pump for a comfortable stay. It's a nice quiet place with a view of the water. Stock up on groceries before arriving as the grocery stores are a bit of a drive. All in all a very nice place to spend time."
