"My husband, 15-year old son and I stayed for a short getaway. The A-frame was just as described and perfect for us. While there were only three of us, there was enough room for 3 more people to sleep as well. Everything we needed was provided, we just had to bring food and our fishing gear. We were able to fish and swim right from the dock and made use of the two kayaks provided. The A-frame is located right on the lake in a very quiet cove. "Great cabin - beautifully updated, spacious, and well—appointed. The hosts were great and the property and house have a ton to offer. Nice and quiet spot but super convenient to Lynchburg. Very highly recommend this for a great get-away stay. "

"This house has everything! We enjoyed the screened porch each morning with coffee and the lake view. The neighborhood was great for walking the dog. We enjoyed the Bodega close by and the live music at the marina. The town of Winchester is adorable! "

Highly recommended adding the golf cart rental to get down to the dock! All of the activities on the dock and at the house kept our crew ranging from 9-50 years old entertained the entire time! The owner/manager communicated with us often to ensure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this house for a nice, relaxing vacation."
