"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

"Love the natural beauty and atmosphere surrounding the cabin! Perfect for a relaxing get-a-way. Clean, comfortable and well stocked with the essentials. It’s a short drive to artistic shops, good eats, scenic waterfalls and great hiking trails. Looking forward to our next visit! "

"What a great house! My friends and I stayed for the weekend. The house is large and quite comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the private dock and in the hot tub. We had a great time and would stay there again."

"Don't hesitate you won't be disappointed. The only regret you'll have is not staying longer. So many things to do and see and you won't feel bad doing nothing at all it is so relaxing. Hosts advice and directions accurate and informative. You don't need to bring anything as the owls nest has everything you'll need for an amazing stay. Thank you."

"Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! "

"What fun we all had! The indoor pool was definitely a highlight for us! kids of all ages were able to enjoy the game room and spend quality time in and around the lake. The use of 2 large refrigerators and 2 dishwashers made cooking and clean up a breeze. "

"Perfect location and had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!"

The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly."

"Cute tiny home with plenty of space in the kitchen and living room for two people. The house is very centrally located so it was no more than 15 mins to get anywhere we wanted to go. I particularly enjoyed the fire pit out back!"

"We had a blast at this wooded oasis. Tons of space and cozy rooms for every guest. Would love to book again. "

"My family spent the weekend here. We absolutely loved this place. Very cozy and private. We spent more time around the fire pit than we did at the actual lake. The view of the lake from the fire pit was so calming and peaceful. The dock was very cool. The host was welcoming and accommodating and very easy to reach if you need. "This cabin was the perfect escape! It struck the ideal balance between comfort and nature- exactly what you'd want fora relaxing stay at Alpine Lake. The home was incredibly well-stocked with everything from towels and dishes to cleaning supplies, spices, and extra linens. It made settling in so easy.
