"We were unable to stay at the property due to several issues but overall it was the large amount of dead bugs on the floor including a dead cockroach that made us leave. The other issues are as follows: the bathroom door is permanently locked - my husband almost got stuck, the key holder to get inside the property is very difficult to open and we spent nearly 10 minutes just trying to get the lockbox open, surfaces in the property were tacky (sticky) or had residue, the mattress in the bedroom...

"This location was AMAZING! Before a new school year begins, my family always makes time for a vacation. Now is the moment for everyone to put social media aside and focus on one another. This location was ideal for unplugging. Liz and Jon, the hosts, are fabulous. Their home is warm, inviting, lovely, tidy, fully furnished, and full of amenities. We explored the land on the first day, unwinded in the stream on the second, and had a tubing excursion down the Bogue Chitto River on the third. It...

"Host was amazingly friendly, apartment was very clean,cool and cozy ,the pool and pond was so relaxing,kids also caught fish that I prepared for dinner, Host welcomed my party guest with a smile and charm, the kids played so much , they slept during movie time, while I enjoyed a book by the pool,I'm so excited about returning."

"Hi! I’m a pastors wife to a church that is local(ish) to this property, less than 1 hour away. We had ladies come stay the whole weekend & ladies who came out for the day…. In total 15 women came thru with 13 of us actually staying thru out the multiple nights of our reservation. Each bedroom has a lil bunk room off of it & it’s own bathroom. I wanted to rent something that all my women’s group could get away & relax & just chill out & be completely stress & worry free for a weekend. I am here...

"Even in the heat of summer, this cabin was a dream! The shaded walking paths were a perfect escape from the sun. We saw some deer and a box turtle! My boys loved fishing in the pond and could not stop catching perch. This was our third visit to the property, and it won’t be our last! "

" The cabin is large and spacious; there were enough bedrooms and beds for the 10 of us. The loft (2 full beds) plus a sleeper-sofa and tv for the older kids to play games and Xbox. The wrap around deck got a lot of use, nice views of the property and River. The stairs leading up to the house and the stairs leading down to lower decks and river all had gates, awesome for small kids. we never felt cramped. The outside fire pit was great; we roasted marshmallows and made smores. The cabin came...

"Nice clean and peaceful. Access to the bogue chitto river was a very nice bonus. "

"This is my second time staying here, and I would happily come again! The cabin is more than comfortable and the hosts are welcoming. I especially enjoy sitting on the porch with my coffee and simply watching the birds and other wildlife. The river is just a short trek down an easy trail, providing another opportunity to relax and enjoy nature. I hope I am able to return again sometime soon!"

"Check-in was easy, property was very nice with all the amenities. Loved the firepit for S'mores.Excellent location, food mart is just around the corner. 5-stars!!!!"

"Stayed here for 4 nights. Definitely a repeat vacation for me. This place is quiet, simple, and beautiful. Between the outside deck, the river, and the cabin itself, everything was just so relaxing and peaceful. It's a perfect location for anyone looking for place to go enjoy quiet nature and to reset from everything."
