"So tranquil and relaxing. The weather was wrecked hot and humid but the cabin stayed so cool and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful, reminds me of staying in the smoky mountains. I’ll definitely be back, planning a time when the weather is cooler to use the beautiful indoor wood-burning fireplace! "

"The location couldn’t get any better. Steps from the Main Street of old town St Charles where all the shops and restaurants are. Quiet neighborhood with a walking trail on the water. House is adorable. Lots of places to sleep. The downstairs bed was very comfy. Even the pillows were great! Shuffleboard is a bonus for the kids. Had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. "

"We booked for our annual boat trip to Grafton. Two couples, plenty of room but still very cozy. Amazing view and excellent exercise if you want to walk the hill! Owners were proactive in making sure we were informed and had everything ready for the stay! Highly recommended especially if visiting Grafton as a boater and keeping your boat in the marina!"

"As mentioned in all reviews, the location is THE best! We stayed there during the 4th of July festival and were right in the middle of the action. BUT with the old thick brick walls when we shut the door all the noise was muted, not to zero, but low enough that it was no big deal. Bed was comfortable, the place was spotless, you get your own parking spot too. Could not recommend higher! -Matt"
