"Fantastic location if you want to see the Orangutans. The village is worth a visit too. The hotel restaurant is good and not too expensive but trips are pricey c. £130 pp for a day. It’s worth noting that the hotel only takes cash (Rupiah and possibly US dollars) so take plenty with you, there’s no ATM for 20 miles! If you fly from Jakarta the domestic terminal has no facility to change money"

"Excellent staff, very hospitable. Front desk was very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant offered a big breakfast buffet which was very good. Restaurant staff were extremely nice. Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. "

"We loved our stay at Bukit Raya Guesthouse. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful garden. It's not far to walk into the center of town. One night"

"Not a bad hotel. Good location but not for pedestrial. Good breakfest. Not very noisy. Sometimes smell of tobacco, but a little. Good and friendly stuff. I think this hotel good for Palangkaraya and for this price."
