"Staff was excellent, rooms are out dated and floors felt dirty. Felt safe and never concerned for our belongings. Had a constant smell of sewage in the shower/bathroom. Overall great location for accessing the beach. I’d look somewhere else unless this is the last available place."

"The room was very spacious, separate to the house and despite other guests being on the farm, it was very quiet. The farm is a functional farm and the host was more than happy to show us around and tell us about its unique history. I don't usually comment on food, but the breakfast offered was amazing."

"The property was like a French estate from yesteryear. Our room was huge (two bedrooms, actually) with a large, updated bathroom. The grounds were magnificent and immaculately maintained. Our hosts were fun and helpful and made our stay a pleasure. The included breakfast was well-done. If you want a quiet, but centrally located property, I can suggest this location. The only difficulty we had was a problem with the WiFi, but the other guests did not, so who knows?"

"A lovely country estate near the D day beaches. So the doors shut neatly? Maybe not for a300 year old chateau, but that’s not why you stay there. Ten minutes from Omaha beach makes it a wonderful place for time traveling. Excellent croissants for breakfast, though the coffee could be a little hotter. Warmly received by the oatron and his charming dog Newton. Way cooler than a not very schmancy hotel…"

They have restored everyrhing themsleves - balancing the history of a place built in the late 1790s without making the property too modern or old feeling. Jumbo the dog is a bonis! "Great little upstairs flat (if you can manage some stairs then you have no noise or footfall above you!) with a ready to use kitchen and fairly spacious balcony. Our host was friendly and helpful, the space clean and quiet. We could see the coast/English Channel from the balcony and (as it is a small sleepy Normandy village) it was amazing to have the only grocery store within a two minute walk.
