"Loved our stay! I loved this location as well! Perfectly between Toronto and Montreal! And also close to thousand islands! Loved it! Was very clean and well organized! "We had a lovely 4-day stay in Gananoque and really enjoyed the area. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Communication with the owners was excellent, they were very responsive and kind. The only thing we missed was a proper outdoor dining table with chairs, and a couple of Muskoka chairs by the fire pit would have been a nice touch. Overall, a very positive experience and a great base to explore the region. "

My daughter and I spent as much time as we could outside- sipping morning coffee in the Muskoka chairs on the new dock, reading in the shade of the black willows and enjoying the quiet of the lake. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. "This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"The cottage was rustic and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. Greg was kind, easy to communicate with, and extremely helpful. This cottage is very close to Charleston Lake Provincial Park, and we made great use of the park pass that was included with our stay.
