Fuss free check in, first floor room in typical Greene King style. Reasonably clean and tidy with everything set out for single guest (only 2 pillows, 2 tea bags, 2 milk sachets....) "As always the staff are welcoming, friendly, personal and professional. The room was spatious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast : delicious. I’ve now stayed at the Dixie around 14 times!! Highly recommend."

"Individual chalets. Motel style with ample parking. Rooms heated day and night. Shower hot and powerful. Bed comfortable. Pub and restaurant on site. Staff work hard but avoid breakfast Sunday morning 9 a.m.rush hour . We waited 35 minutes for order to be taken it arrived 20 minutes after. Easy to find as 5 minutes from motorway junction. Enjoyable and relaxing stay. "

"We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle. "Yes and Yes. 1 point. As an older person, my head is dropping to bits. I have a single tooth denture. Such thing is quite small. I tend to brush it under a running tap. Had I done this, there would have been a severe danger of it disappearing down the plughole and lost for ever (Cost £250). Because the plug mechanism is missing which leaves the drain hole completely open! (Room 5)."
