"Lovely older cottage that's been nicely remodeled and updated, with newer appliances. Very pet-friendly and it was great to have a fenced yard for the dogs. Our Frenchie really enjoyed the "sunbathing" spots by the big sliding doors.The vacant lot on one side made it feel like we had a bit more privacy.The view of the lake is superb. Both the neighborhood and lake were quiet and peaceful during our stay - several pontoons and kayaks went by, but no noisy boats."

"The Roost was perfect for our family gathering! Our daughter was getting married, and we were hosting family at the cabins. Everyone had their own space with the individual cabins. The main cabin is very spacious and has everything you need. The three smaller cabins are adorable and it allowed everyone to have their own space. "The cabin was immaculate and very secluded and cozy. The amenities were as described and a nice unexpected welcome package was awaiting me!The 40 acres had enough trails to enjoy and you can wade across the river in most places as it’s generally 3-5ft deep in this area.There are zero disappointments with this wonderful property.I was completely off grid for 11 days and can’t wait to return next year."
