"I liked the view from the deck looking over the lake. People still have to pickup after the dogs as there are kids around. The beds were comfortable, but the internet cut in and out if you were in the cabin. Over all very nice place to stay."

"We had a great weekend getaway, the lake is right across the cottage, it’s a breathtaking view and staff was friendly and all the instructions were very simple to follow. We had a great time and would love to visit again"

"Everything was great. Cant wait to go back again. The only thing i didnt like was they didnt give us bracelets and we thought we couldnt enter certain areas. But when we checked out we asked how do we get bracelets they said “ oh sorry u didnt get them at check in” "

"The cottage was beautiful. We stayed for a concert and got a cab to Bala. Worked perfect for us for the night. Lots of space. Didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time exploring the property but overall was very happy with it! "

"We had a great stay! The cottage is exactly as described except I would say the bed is a double not a queen. Clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay again. "

"Great quiet location away from the city. Cute little cottage - enough for a couple. Close to small town of Bala. Only issue was the heat in the living area. Need more heaters and blinds in the living room. "

Easy to follow instructions to get there and for keypad entry; good room to park our SUV and hatchback; huge back yard; and safe street to walk up and down with our grandson & our pooch. And only a short drive from Santa's Village, where we took our grandson to meet Santa on his summer break. We enjoyed exploring a bit of Bracebridge too. "We had a great time for our first time as a family experiencing a cottage holiday at Earl and Linda’s. From first contact Earl was eager to make our 2 weeks a success! And it was. This cottage is just like described, a wonderful place to gather. So well stocked, beyond expectations! Showed us around upon arrival and easily reached with any questions. Highly recommend staying here. So much to do in the area. Many thanks from all of us. "

"Wonderful stay at 3 Mile Lake. Interior of the cottage has been redone and works well for 6 people (we had 4 adults and 2 kids). Be aware that the rooms are pretty tight if youre bringing a pack and play (we had to move one of the twin beds to fit it). Pictures dont do the property justice! Nice sandy beach thats perfect for small kids, new dock and a wide patio - we spent almost all our time outside. Great communication with the host Anna as well (we had a power outage one of the nights)."

"Our stay at Steve's cottage last week was nothing short of magical. The highlight, without a doubt, was the **absolutely spectacular sunset view over Penn Lake, right from the private dock. Winding down each evening watching the sky explode in color over the calm water was an unforgettable experience – a view truly rare to find and worth the trip alone!The lake itself felt alive and welcoming. We loved watching the big fish swimming right under the deck and were charmed daily by a sweet family...

"Very peaceful and private area! The property looked just like the pictures, possibly even better than in the pictures. Host was very welcoming through virtual communication. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with essentials. We didn’t have kids with us so it wasn’t relevant for our stay, but there was a pretty awesome play area for kids in the basement that’s worth mentioning. "
