"Inaccessible property (have to pay extra to a tuk tuk to get in and out) and dated, unclean condition overall. Great views but poor service, lacklustre food and menu, and rooms are old, dirty, with poor beds and mattresses. We had to check out 1 night early to stay somewhere else, it was a poor hotel that is in desperate need updating. We were able to two safari on our one night stay. For our visit, we preferred the evening tour as seen a range of animals. "Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink."
