"It’s was a little nosy during the night as the walls maybe a little thin and you can hear everything from the next room. Apart from that it’s a lovely hotel with an outstanding spa facilities. "

"Nice hotel, rooms are big for English standards and very close to supermarket, shops, etc. Parking is not free but was charged only 5GBP for day, so that was ok. The only downside was that we were traveling with a lot of bags and they do not have an elevator, anyway, they have only 2 floors so we had to go only one flour up. Overall nice stay with no issues."

"Swimming pool and spa very relaxing. Garden restaurant pleasant, food average. Breakfast wasn’t explained so we didn’t realise you could order eggs. Bacon was rubbery. Melon all gone by 9am. Pastries could have been fresher. Good tea tray in room. Room was larger than expected. "

"Was not told you have to pay for parking also roo.s were very basic and tatty. Hallways leading to the rooms were more like a youth hostel. Stayed here before and thought it was ok then but this was worse and now with having to pay for parking and unfriendly staff means we wont be coming back again "

"Where do I start! We stayed here 4 years ago and it was marvellous.it was thriving ,busy, Bustling . This time when we arrived we was told check in your car else you’ll get a fine ( great fair enough.) Then sign in and il take a card off you just in case your room gets trashed! Wow! We’re in our 60’s definitely not rock stars, id rather watch telly than chuck it out of the window! The chap then said it’s so busy here because of the bank holiday ( Monday) that the dining room may not have space...

"Not a friendly welcome at all! Hotels in need of some TLC, rooms way too warm but you can’t control the heat individually & opening a window meant being kept awake all night by the busy street below, even had police outside until early hours, just not a great location to stay & hotel is old & sad with miserable staff!"

"Fabulous overnight stay"

"Reception team seemed really friendly, we wasn’t kept waiting to be booked in and was told if we needed anything just ask, we were handed an information sheet telling us all about the hotel and past history. The room was clean and tidy there was facilities for making tea and coffee, an ironing board and iron. Unfortunately didn’t get much sleep as the bed was very hard. Had a meal in the bar, disappointed on the pizza, very flat and floppy with not much taste, lots of grease left on the plate....
